About Ma'adanai
Ma’adanai Mines Limited (“Ma’adanai”) is a leading integrated mining solutions trading, and investment company that seeks to deliver superior returns to all stakeholders while carrying out sustainable, ethical and responsible mining operations across Sub Saharan Africa.
Ma’adanai was incorporated in 2019 by a group of professionals with the aim of redefining mining operations in Nigeria in particular, and Sub-Saharan Africa as a whole.
The name “Ma’adanai” is the Hausa word for Minerals. The Hausa are the largest ethnic group in West and Central Africa and the Hausa language is the second most spoken language after Arabic in the Afro- Asiatic language family. In its quest to be a truly indigenous company, the founders of Ma’adanai deliberated on an appropriate name that would showcase the company’s indigenous nature and great pride in the African continent, and settled for Ma’adanai- an indigenous name, taken from an indigenous language, thereby making a bold statement, acknowledging the fact that the company intends to set itself apart on the African continent and indeed, globally.
